Your article stated that Ms. Taynen claims that the neighbours around Grattan Park do not support the makeover of the park, which is not the case at all. As a resident of Grattan Street, my neghbours and I have met with Coun. Frances Nunziata and the parks department on several occasions and support this project. All you need to do is visit the park on Grattan Street and see for yourself the current condition of the park. It is in desperate need of an upgrade in order to bring people back to the park again, and make sure the kids who play in the park do so in a safe environment. If you are unable to visit the park itself, we have created a group on Facebook called 'Support Grattan Park.' I encourage anyone who is on Facebook to visit our group for more information, including photos of the current state of the park.
