Gold-silver combo for St. Clements student

A local student earned a gold-silver combo at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) track and field championships which wrapped up in Hamilton two weeks ago.

Tamara Jewett of St. Clements private shcool, which is located off Yonge Street (just north of Eglinton Avenue) on St. Clements Avenue, proved to be a force in the senior girls distance events.

She won gold in the 3000m race with a time of 9:37.99s and finished second in the 1500m race with a time of 4:31.29s.
